Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Nozar Law (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use this website and its free case review form. California residents have additional rights described under “Your California privacy rights” below and on our Your Privacy Choices page.

Information we collect

• Case review answers: the type of accident, when it happened, whether you were injured and when you were treated, whether you were at fault, whether you already have an attorney, whether you have already accepted a settlement, whether the other party had insurance, whether a police report was filed, and your ZIP code.
• Contact information: your first name, mobile phone number, and, if you choose to provide it, your email address.
• Information you enter before finishing the form: the case review saves the information you enter as you go, starting with your contact details on the second step, even if you do not reach the end. We may use that information to follow up with you about your inquiry by a call placed by a person. Until you check the consent box on the final step, we do not send you text messages or automated calls about it. If the review tells you that you do not meet the firm’s current criteria, the information you entered is deleted and only a one-way hashed copy of your phone number and email address is kept to prevent repeat contact.
• Consent and verification records: the date and time you consented to be contacted, the exact consent language shown to you, your IP address, your browser information, and confirmation that your phone number was verified by text message. If you submit the form more than once, each consent is recorded separately.
• Advertising attribution: campaign parameters from the link you used to reach this site (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, and utm_term) and advertising click identifiers (gclid from Google and fbclid from Meta). These tell us which advertisement brought you here and are stored with your inquiry so we can measure our advertising; they do not by themselves identify you.
• Device and usage information: through the analytics and advertising services described below, your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you interact with the case review (for example, which step you reached), and cookie or device identifiers.

We do not ask for, and you should not send, Social Security numbers, insurance policy numbers, medical records, or documents through this website.

How we use information

To review your inquiry, contact you about it (including by phone, text message, and email as you consented), verify your phone number, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, measure and improve this website and the case review, and measure the performance of our advertising.

How we share information

With service providers that help us operate this website and communicate with you (for example hosting, database, email, and text-messaging providers, and the marketing and intake vendor that operates this website on the firm’s behalf), under obligations to protect your information; and with the analytics and advertising services described below. We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share your case review answers or contact details with other law firms.

Analytics, advertising, and cookies

The following third-party services run, or are planned to run, on this website. Each receives only the information described.

• Google Analytics 4 (website analytics, in use): Google sets cookies and uses device identifiers to recognize your browser and collects your IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device information, the pages you view, the source that referred you, and events such as starting or completing a step of the case review. This information is shared with Google, which processes it on our behalf and under its own privacy policy. It does not include your name, phone number, email address, or your answers to the case review questions. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on.
• Advertising pixels, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram) (in use or planned): we may place pixels or tags from advertising platforms such as Meta to measure whether our advertisements lead to visits and inquiries and to build audiences for advertising, including audiences of people similar to our visitors. These platforms may set cookies and receive your IP address, device information, the pages you view, and events such as starting or completing the case review; some, like Meta, may associate that information with your account on their service. California law may treat this as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, which you can opt out of on our Your Privacy Choices page.
• Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection on the case review form): when enabled, Turnstile checks that a submission comes from a person rather than an automated program. To do this, Cloudflare may process your IP address, browser information, and a short-lived challenge token, and may set a cookie for that purpose. Turnstile does not show you ads and does not receive your answers or contact details.
• Hosting, database, email, and text-messaging providers: see “How we share information” above.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of this website may not work as intended without them.

Text messaging (SMS) program

By providing your mobile number and checking the consent box, you agree to receive text messages from Nozar Law and its agents and service providers about your inquiry, including a one-time verification code. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Retention

We keep inquiry, consent, and verification records for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.

Your California privacy rights

This section applies to California residents and describes rights that may be available under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA).

Categories of personal information we collect: identifiers (name, phone number, email address, IP address, cookie and device identifiers); characteristics of the case review answers you provide (for example, whether you were injured and treated); commercial and inquiry information (your interest in legal services); internet and network activity (pages viewed, interactions with the form, referring advertisement); approximate geolocation derived from your IP address and ZIP code; and inferences drawn from the above for advertising measurement.

Purposes: the purposes listed under “How we use information,” namely reviewing and following up on your inquiry, verifying your number, preventing fraud, complying with law, and measuring this website and our advertising.

Your rights: the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and share; the right to delete personal information we hold about you; the right to correct inaccurate personal information; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information; and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information for money. We may share information with advertising platforms as described above, which you can opt out of on our Your Privacy Choices page. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as a request to opt out of sharing for the browser sending the signal.

We will need to verify that the request comes from you, which may mean matching the phone number or email address you used on this site, and an authorized agent may make a request on your behalf with your written permission.
