Do I need a police report to qualify?
No. The review asks whether a report was filed, but the answer does not change whether you qualify. It helps the intake team understand which records may already exist for your crash.
What if the other driver was uninsured?
You can still submit the review. The other party's insurance never affects eligibility; answering no or not sure simply lets the intake team confirm the coverage picture with you on the follow-up call.
What if I was partly at fault?
Shared fault does not keep you from submitting the review. The only fault answer outside the current criteria is being fully at fault for the crash.
The CHP responded instead of the LAPD. Does that matter?
